My. My mom passed this recipe on to me. Bourbon slush was a classic 1970s drink, she said. She and my dad used to make it when we’d go on family beach week vacations in the summer when I was growing up. No wonder they were so relaxed and fun! 😂 It’s slushy, it’s sweet, it’s a perfect combination of afternoon flavors.

Bourbon Peach Slush – Recipe Runner Combine the frozen lemonade, orange juice, sugar, water, unsweetened tea, and bourbon together. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Place the mixture into the freezer overnight. To Serve: Fill 2/3’s of the glass or pitcher with the frozen bourbon mixture. Fill the remaining 1/3 of the glass or pitcher with ginger ale.

Combine the frozen lemonade, orange juice, sugar, water, unsweetened tea, and bourbon together. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Place the mixture into the freezer overnight. To Serve: Fill 2/3’s of the glass or pitcher with the frozen bourbon mixture. Fill the remaining 1/3 of the glass or pitcher with ginger ale. To begin, brew a small batch of tea and let cool to room temperature. Mix in the frozen but thawed lemonade & orange juice along with the sugar & water. Now, for the most important part! Add the liquid goodness, [any] Kentucky bourbon, and mix. As always, feel free to be a bit more generous with this ingredient.

Iced Tea Whiskey Slush Recipe – Food Fun & Faraway Places May 23, 2023In a large bowl or container with a lid, combine frozen lemonade concentrate, frozen orange juice concentrate, bourbon and tea. Stir until the lemonade and orange juice are incorporated and no longer frozen or lumpy. Cover and freeze overnight. Scoop ½ cup of the frozen mixture into a glass. Top with a splash of ginger ale.
